Bitumen 160/220
Bitumen 160-220 is bitumen obtained by aeration process on the vacuum baton (raw material for bitumen production taken from under the distillation tower in the vacuum of oil refineries) in bitumen production units and by the degree of permeability (determination). The hardness of bitumen) is between 220 and 160. Bitumen 160/220 is generally used in insulation systems.
DESCRIPTION:
Bitumen 160/220 is a standard Penetration Grade of bitumen usually used for Pavement in the construction business with superior quality. This grade of bitumen is normally used as a base raw material for bituminous asphalt via spraying, chip application and many more in our day to day life. The Frontier Bitumen Company Penetration Grade of Bitumen is produced from Vacuum Residue, which is blown by hot air in a controlled process until the desired specification is reached.
CHARACTERISTICS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
The Bitumen Grade 160/220 is produced in compliance and conformity to European Standard EN 12591:2009, also, meets the following specification requirements.
